Virginia has made veteran workforce services a statewide priority, and there are many areas where veterans can take advantage of these services.
For instance, veterans and eligible spouses receive priority for the receipt of employment, training and placement services, notwithstanding any other provision of the law. They also have priority of service with respect to any qualified Department of Labor employment and job-training program. Benefits extend to education through the Virginia Community College System.
