Mark is President of ECPI University, a skills-based career institution consisting of eighteen campuses in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Mark has worked in various executive positions at ECPI since 1982. ECPI University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, baccalaureate, and master’s degrees offering programs primarily in Information Technology, Health Sciences, Business and the Culinary Arts.

Mark is a Board Member of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce; Board Member and former Chair of APSCU; Board Member of the Virginia Board of Workforce Development; Board Member of Opportunity Inc.; Board member and former chair of the Virginia Career College Association and Board Member of the Virginia Career Education. He was also a member of the Commonwealth of Virginia Governor’s Commission on Higher Education Reform, Innovation and Investment.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago.
